Start here: how the Doily community works

This is the community for people who work on search and AI visibility: business owners, small teams, and agencies. Ask a question, share what you see in your data, and answer what you know.

What you can do. Reading is open to everyone. A Doily account lets you post, reply, vote, save threads, join communities, and report problems.

How it is organized. Each community covers one topic and has its own rules and flairs. Pick the community that fits, then a flair such as Question, Discussion, Case study, Tool, Guide, Data pattern, or Help.

What to include. Say what you tried, what you saw, and what you expected. Name the engine or the tool, and give the date. Numbers help.

Who writes here. The reference threads in the communities are written by the Doily team and carry the team label. Everything else comes from members.

Sort by: Best

    How the sort tabs work.

    • Best weighs votes by how many people voted, adds replies, and favors newer threads. All else equal, 9 up and 1 down ranks above 1 up and 0 down.
    • Hot combines the score with age. Newer threads with votes rise, and older ones sink even if they scored well.
    • New is newest first.
    • Top is the highest score. Use the time range for All time, Year, Month, Week, or Day.
    • Rising favors newer threads that are drawing votes and replies the fastest.

Each account has one vote per post, up or down, and you can change or remove it. Scores and reply counts are real counts.

    Formatting.

Posts and replies support a small part of Markdown: bold, italic, bulleted and numbered lists, inline code, code blocks fenced with 3 backticks, and links. The toolbar above the box adds the syntax, and Preview shows the result as you type.

Images, files, and raw HTML are not supported. Links from accounts under 7 days old appear as plain text.

    Saving and joining.

Save a thread to find it again. Saved threads are listed on your profile, and only you can see that list. Join a community to keep it in your own list of communities. Joining does not change what you can read or post.

      Reports and review.

Every post and reply has a Report control with a list of reasons. Three reports from different accounts hide a post until a moderator reviews it. Posts from accounts in their first 24 hours, or with fewer than 3 posts, are held for review before they appear. The full list is on the rules page.
