Client workspaces and the client portal
Doily is opening soon. These articles describe how the product works at launch.
Quick answer
Each client gets a workspace of their own. Agency L1 includes 20 client workspaces, and each level adds 10 more. Clients sign in to a client portal under your branding, and Agency plans include unlimited client logins. Staff seats start at 10 and grow by 3 per level.
Before you start
- An Agency plan, or an Agency trial
- Your logo and brand colors, if you want the portal branded
Steps
-
Create a workspace for each client
Add a client, then add their domain as a project. Credits are pooled across all of your client workspaces.
-
Invite your staff
Agency L1 includes 10 staff seats, with 3 more at each level. Extra seats are $15 a month each.
-
Choose roles
Roles are admin, team, collaborator, and client, with capability toggles for things like billing, exports, and tasks. Collaborators see only the clients shared with them.
-
Invite client users
Client logins are unlimited on Agency plans. Clients see only their own workspace in the portal.
-
Brand the portal
Agency plans are fully white label. Add your logo and colors, and clients see your brand, not Doily's.
-
Bill clients if you want to
Agencies can connect their own payment account to bill clients through Doily. Doily takes no cut, and the client-facing billing tab shows only your branding.
Tips
- Name each client workspace the way the client knows their business, so staff and clients recognize it at a glance.
- Each level adds 10 client workspaces. Move up a level when you reach your limit, or add 1 workspace at a time.
- Prospects are not clients. They do not count toward your workspaces or your tracking limits.
