Run a quick audit

Doily is opening soon. These articles describe how the product works at launch.

Quick answer

A quick audit is a snapshot of one domain that combines a site crawl, keyword overview, backlinks and Doily Authority, Core Web Vitals, a Google Business Profile lookup where the business is local, AI visibility, and a brand perception summary. Each claim is labeled measured, estimated, or approximate.

Before you start

  • The domain you want to audit
  • On Free, the domain must be your own

Steps

  1. Start the audit

Enter a domain. A fresh audit counts 1 against your monthly quick audit allowance. Free can audit your own domain only.

  2. Read the sections

The result covers the site crawl, a keyword overview, backlinks and Doily Authority, Core Web Vitals, a Google Business Profile lookup where the business is local, and a brand perception summary.

  3. Read the AI visibility section

Doily runs 5 assumed prompts on 5 engines for the business. You can edit the prompts and run the AI section again. The first edit and re-run is free, and later re-runs cost 30 credits.

  4. Check the honesty labels

Every claim carries a label: measured, estimated, or approximate. The label tells you how firm the number is, so read approximate numbers as directional.

  5. Share the result

On paid plans, create a share link or download a PDF. Sharing, viewing, and downloading never count against your allowance.

  6. Turn a prospect into a client

On Team and Agency, a prospect can become a client from the pipeline. The last audit is reused as the Day 0 baseline.

Tips

  • Open the same domain again within 7 days to see the saved result for free.
  • Edit the assumed prompts to match how the business's customers ask, and include the state.

Troubleshooting

Why can I not create a share link?

Share links and PDFs are included on paid plans. Free quick audits have no share link.

My audit only partly finished. Did it count?

A partial audit counts 1 and comes with 1 free retry within 24 hours. A failure before any paid data is fetched counts 0.

Is there a public audit tool on the Doily site?

No. Quick audits run inside your Doily workspace, and the free audit form is an option for Team and Agency plans.
