What Ask Doily can and cannot do

Quick answer
Ask Doily answers questions from the data in your workspace, such as rankings, AI visibility, analytics, tasks, and audits, and it cites where each answer came from. Numbers come only from your data, never from guesswork. Each message costs 1 credit. It can make mistakes, so check important numbers.
Before you start
- A workspace with at least one project and some tracked data
- Credits available, because each message costs 1 credit
Steps

Ask a specific question
Ask about a keyword, a prompt, a page, or a time period. For example: Which keywords moved up this month?

Read the answer and its sources
Ask Doily links its answer to the records and screens it used. Open them to confirm any number that matters.

Ask about the world outside your data
Ask Doily can also look at keyword research, the current search results for a query, and search industry news.

Let it draft, then confirm
It can draft a task or a recommendation. Nothing is created until you confirm on the confirmation card.

Know the limits
Ask Doily only shows what your role allows. If a request needs a permission you do not have, it says which permission is missing and who can grant it.
Tips
- Every composer carries this line: Doily uses AI and can make mistakes. Check important numbers.
- Specific questions get better answers than broad ones. Name the project, the metric, and the dates.
- Ask Doily messages cost 1 credit each, and AI actions elsewhere in the product cost 5.
Troubleshooting
Why did Ask Doily refuse my question?
Your role may not include the permission the answer needs, such as billing details or raw AI responses. The refusal names the missing permission and who can grant it.
Can it change settings or send emails on its own?
No. It can only draft actions such as a task or a recommendation, and nothing happens until you confirm.
Can it see other clients' data?
No. It works inside the client and the permissions your role has.
