Prospect pipeline and the free audit form
Doily is opening soon. These articles describe how the product works at launch.
Quick answer
The prospect pipeline keeps every prospect, audit, note, and email in one record, and the free audit form collects new leads from your own website. Both are on Team and Agency plans. A won prospect converts in place into a client, and its last audit becomes the Day 0 baseline.
Before you start
- A Team or Agency plan
- Quick audit allowance remaining for the month
Steps
-
Run an audit on a prospect
Enter a domain in the Clients area to run a quick audit. The prospect is saved with its audit. Prospects do not count toward your client or tracking limits.
-
Share the audit
Send the audit as a share link or PDF. Opens are tracked, so you can see when a prospect read it.
-
Move the prospect through stages
Stages run from Lead to Audit sent, In conversation, Proposal sent, Negotiation, then Won or Lost. You can rename the stages, and the board and table views show the pipeline.
-
Add the free audit form to your website
Place the form on your site. A visitor enters a domain, name, email, and company, and Doily creates a prospect and runs the audit.
-
Convert a won prospect
Mark the prospect Won to convert it in place into a client. The last audit is reused as the Day 0 baseline.
Tips
- Every form audit uses your monthly quick audit allowance. Add the +50 audits add-on if the form is busy.
- The board view is desktop only.
- Prospects never get a Doily login. They open the shared report link.
Troubleshooting
What happens when my allowance runs out?
The form still stores the lead as a prospect with the status Audit queued, and the audit runs when you have allowance again.
Can Starter use the pipeline?
No. The pipeline and the free audit form are on Team and Agency only.
Can clients see my prospects?
No. Collaborator and client roles have no access to prospects or the pipeline.
