How credits work and what each check costs

Credits pay for AI work. A check costs 1 credit on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, and DeepSeek, and 2 credits on Perplexity, Grok, and Claude. An Ask Doily message costs 1 credit and an AI action costs 5. Credits are hard-capped, with no surprise overage.

Learn the costs
A check is 1 prompt on 1 engine for 1 run. It costs 1 credit on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, and DeepSeek, and 2 credits on Perplexity, Grok, and Claude.

Count Ask Doily and AI actions
Each Ask Doily message costs 1 credit. Each AI action costs 5 credits: a report summary letter, a year-over-year page, and a batch of prompt research.

Estimate your month
Checking 10 prompts daily on ChatGPT for 30 days costs 300 credits. The same prompts on Claude cost 600 credits. Weekly checks cost far less.

Know your allowance
Plans include 100 credits on Free, 4,500 on Starter, 7,500 on Team, and 14,000 plus 5,000 per level on Agency, pooled across client workspaces.

Understand rollover and order
Plan credits reset every month and do not roll over. Credits from add-on packs roll over until they expire after 60 days, and referral credits last 12 months. Credits that expire soonest are used first.

Handle the limit
At the limit, scheduled checks pause and a one-click purchase offers a pack. Agency plans can turn on auto top-up, which adds 10,000 credits for $79.
Tips
- Move low-priority engines to weekly cadence to save credits.
- Quick audits are a separate meter and do not use credits, except for later AI re-runs at 30 credits each.
- The credits add-on is +10,000 credits for $79 a month on any paid plan.
Troubleshooting
Will I be charged if I go over my credits?
No. Credits are hard-capped. Checks pause at the limit until the next reset, a purchased pack, or a plan change.
Do unused plan credits carry over?
No. Plan credits reset each month. Only add-on pack credits and referral credits roll over until they expire.
Do checks, Ask Doily messages, and AI actions share one balance?
Yes. All of them draw from the same credit balance, so one number shows what is left.
