How the Free plan works
Doily is opening soon. These articles describe how the product works at launch.
Quick answer
The Free plan costs $0 and tracks 3 AI prompts weekly on ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, 10 keywords weekly, 1 domain, and 1 competitor. It includes 1 seat, 30 days of history, 100 credits each month, and 1 quick audit a month on your own domain.
Before you start
- The website you want to track
- One competitor website you want to compare against
Steps
-
Create your workspace
Add your domain and 1 competitor. Free covers 1 domain plus 1 competitor and 1 seat, so the workspace is for one person.
-
Choose what to track
Add up to 3 prompts, which Doily checks on ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, and up to 10 keywords. Both are checked weekly on Free.
-
Read your dashboard
Free is dashboard only. Results appear in the app with a 30-day history window. Scheduled reports are not part of Free.
-
Spend your monthly allowances
Each month you get 100 credits for checks and Ask Doily messages, plus 1 quick audit on your own domain. Free quick audits have no share link.
-
Move up when you need more
Starter adds daily checks, more prompts and keywords, and scheduled PDF reports. Upgrades take effect immediately and keep all of your history.
Tips
- Write your prompts the way a customer in your state would ask, and include the state.
- A ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews check costs 1 credit, so 3 prompts on both engines use 6 credits each week.
- Quick audits on Free cover your own domain only. Auditing a prospect or a competitor needs a paid plan.
Troubleshooting
Can I try a paid plan before I pay?
Free lets you see how Doily works before you move to Starter or Team. Only the Agency plan has a trial: 7 days, with a card required and no charge until day 7.
Why do my results update weekly?
Free checks run weekly. Paid plans check prompts daily, and you can adjust the cadence for each engine.
What happens to my data if I move back to Free later?
Downgrades never delete data. Anything over the Free limits becomes read-only, and the 30-day history window is applied when you view data, so older history returns if you upgrade again.
