Connect Google Search Console and Google Analytics
Doily is opening soon. These articles describe how the product works at launch.
Quick answer
Open Integrations, pick Google Search Console or Google Analytics, authorize with Google, choose your accounts, and confirm. Access is read-only and you can disconnect any time. Data syncs daily at 6:00 AM workspace time by default, and Doily loads 16 months of history first.
Before you start
- A Google account that can open the Search Console property and the Analytics property you want to connect
- A Doily role that is allowed to manage connections
Steps

Find the integration
Open Integrations and choose Google Search Console or Google Analytics. Every connection is marked Verified, Beta, or Manual so you know how mature it is.

Authorize with Google
Choose Connect and sign in with Google. Doily asks for read-only access, so it cannot change anything in your Google accounts.

Choose your accounts
Select the property or properties that belong to this project. Only properties your Google account can already open will appear.

Confirm the schedule and history
Sync defaults to daily at 6:00 AM in your workspace time. You can switch to every 6 hours or weekly on Monday. Backfill options are 3 months, 16 months (the default), or all available history.

Watch the status
A new connection shows Finish setup, then Syncing, then Connected. If it ever shows Needs attention: reconnect, follow the connection fix article.
Tips
- Keep the 16-month backfill if you want year-over-year comparisons in reports.
- Disconnect any time. Doily keeps the data it already imported for 90 days, then deletes it.
- Connect both Google products early so your first report has rankings and traffic in one place.
Troubleshooting
Why is my property missing from the list?
Only properties your Google account can open are listed. Sign in with the account that has access, or ask the property owner to add you in Google.
Can Doily change anything in my Google account?
No. Google connections are read-only, and Doily follows the Google API Services Limited Use policy for data it receives from Google.
What does Needs attention: reconnect mean?
Google access has expired or been revoked. Reconnect from the integration page and syncing resumes.
