Ask Doily reads the data in your workspace through fixed tools: rankings, AI visibility, analytics from connected accounts, tasks, meetings, and site audits. It sees only what your role allows. Billing details and raw AI responses need their own permissions, and one client's data is never shown to another.

Ask Doily can read rankings, AI visibility results, analytics from connected tools, tasks, meetings, and site audit findings for the client you are working in.

Know what needs extra permission
Billing information needs a billing permission, raw AI responses need a raw responses permission, and exports need an export permission.

Know how roles shape answers
Roles include admin, team, collaborator, client, and Doily subscriber, with capability toggles. Collaborators see only the clients shared with them.

Read the refusals
When your role blocks an answer, Ask Doily says what you asked for, which permission is missing, and who can grant it.

Check the sources
Each answer links to the records it used, so you can see exactly which data it read.
Tips
- Ask Doily answers questions about one client at a time, so choose the client before you ask.
- If an answer seems incomplete, ask a workspace admin whether your role has the right capabilities.
- Numbers in answers come from the data tools. If a number does not appear in the cited source, do not rely on it.
Troubleshooting
Does Ask Doily use my data to train AI models?
No. Doily does not use customer data to train generalized models, and AI providers are configured for zero retention or no training where offered.
Can a client user ask about other clients?
No. Client users are limited to their own client and to the permissions of their role.
Can it read documents I upload?
Ask Doily can use the knowledge saved for a client, such as notes and imported documents, in addition to live metrics.
